About

The Wyoming Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Program (EHDI) is designed to ensure that all infants, toddlers and preschoolers with hearing loss are identified as early as possible and provided with timely and appropriate follow-up and intervention. Our goal is to help provide the best possible outcomes for these children and their families.

The Wyoming EHDI Program is made up the following 5 basic components:

  1. Newborn Hearing Screenings
  2. Referral to Audiological Diagnosis
  3. Referral to Early Intervention
  4. Hearing Screening for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
  5. Follow-up, Tracking, and Reporting
